Privacy Policy – Uni Clinic Lab Archiver

Uni Clinic operates the Uni Clinic Lab Archiver, an internal clinic application used to retrieve laboratory reports from the clinic’s Gmail account, archive those reports securely, and send selected laboratory reports to patients by email.
Google Account and Gmail Data
The Uni Clinic Lab Archiver uses Google APIs to access Gmail data only for the following purposes:
- to retrieve laboratory report emails and PDF attachments received by Uni Clinic;
- to archive laboratory reports within Uni Clinic’s private clinic systems;
- to send laboratory reports to patients when initiated and reviewed by authorised Uni Clinic staff.
The application accesses only the Google account authorised by Uni Clinic.
How Google User Data Is Used
Google user data is used only for the functions described above. Uni Clinic does not use Google user data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Storage and Security
Laboratory reports and related records may be stored within Uni Clinic’s private systems for clinical and administrative purposes. Access is restricted to authorised clinic personnel. OAuth credentials and access tokens are stored securely and are not made publicly available.
Sharing of Data
Uni Clinic does not sell Google user data. Google user data is not shared with third parties except where necessary to provide authorised clinic services, comply with applicable law, or where required by the patient’s care or consent.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Uni Clinic Lab Archiver’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Retention
Data is retained only as required for legitimate clinical, administrative, regulatory, and record-keeping purposes. Access to Gmail through the application may be revoked at any time through the authorised Google account.
