Fungal Infection of the Right Ear

15 years old girl, presented to us with recurrent right ear pain, itchiness and minimal ear discharge.

She was previously treated elsewhere as acute otitis externa with antibiotics.

Scope was done and showed likely fungal infection of the right ear.

Fungal infection of the right ear – presence of white fungus spore, with minimal ear wax(brownish).

She was prescribed with topical clotrimazole ear drop, to be applied 3-4 times a day for a week.
