This is a case of an elderly gentleman, came with traumatic injury over his left hand.
His left hand was hit by a fallen brick a day ago. He came to us with pain, swelling, bruises and reduced range of motion over his left hand.
X-ray of the left hand was done and showed fracture over his second and third proximal phalanges.
He was referred to nearest tertiary centre for further management. He was treated conservatively with cast by the orthopaedic team.
We saw him back 6 months later, he is well and has no more pain, but he is unable to flex fully his second and third finger.
